Notes Before Crocheting

  • All rounds are joined with a slip stitch unless otherwise specified.
  • Keep tension even to ensure the blanket lays flat and avoids warping.
  • All repeated segments follow the full-round looping rule.
  • Special stitching techniques are marked with detailed notes in corresponding rounds.
  • A 4.0mm crochet hook is recommended.

1. Main Body & Center Circular Part

Round 1

MR, 12 sc, join with sl st
Total Stitches: 12 sts

Round 2

*(dc inc, ch 1)* rep 12 times, join with sl st

Round 3

*(dc, dc inc, ch 1)* rep 12 times, join with sl st

Round 4

*(dc, dc inc, dc, ch 1)* rep 12 times, join with sl st

Round 5

*(3 dc, dc inc, ch 1)* rep 12 times, join with sl st
Continue the incremental crocheting logic to expand the circular main body and maintain uniform round growth

2. Hollowed-out Part

Round 40

(You can be at any round, this round number is just the instruction)

*(ch 7, sk 2, sts, 1 sc)* rep all around, join with sl st

Round 41 (Special Stitch Round)

Sl st 4 times into the first ch-7 loop of the previous round.
Ch 4, sl st once into the 4th stitch of the next ch-7 loop.
*Ch 4, sl st once into the 4th stitch of the next ch-7 loop* repeat all around.
Key Note: When making slip stitches, insert the hook through one outer loop of the chain and the back bump of the chain for a firm and neat stitch.

Round 42

*Work 3 dc into each ch-7 loop from Round 41* rep all around, join with sl st

3. Three-Dimensional Leaf Motif Section

Round 46

*(42 dc, dc inc)* rep 12 times, join with sl st
Total Stitches: 528 sts

Round 47

*(1 sc, ch 3, sk 2 sts)* rep all around, join with sl st

Round 48

*(1 sc on the single crochet stitch, 2 sc into the ch-3 loop)* rep all around, join with sl st

Round 49 (Complete Leaf Group Making)

Ch 3 (standing chain).
Count 8 stitches to the left from the first dc of Round 46. Insert the hook from bottom to top between the 2nd and 3rd stitches, work 1 sc.
Turn the work, let the chain loop stay on the left side. Work into the chain loop: (1 sc, 1 hdc, 3 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc).

Ch 3 again.
Count 4 stitches to the right from the first dc of Round 46. Insert the hook from top to bottom between the 4th and 5th stitches, work 1 sc.
Turn the work, let the chain loop stay on the left side. Work into the chain loop: (1 sc, 1 hdc, 3 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc).

Ch 4, return to Round 48. Work 8 sc starting from the 2nd single crochet stitch.
Note: The above steps complete 1 independent leaf group. Repeat evenly around the blanket to make matching leaf motifs.

4. Rose Flowers

Ch 17. Start crocheting from the 4th chain away from the hook: work 4 hdc into the same stitch, then 3 dc into the same stitch.
*(dc inc, ch 1, picot, dc)* rep 12 times.
Ch 2, sl st to close the flower ring, fasten off the yarn.
Production Suggestion: Make multiple rose flowers according to personal preference, and fix them on the blanket surface matching the leaf positions.

5. Final Finishing Work & Care

  • Weave in all loose yarn ends tightly.
  • Gently block the finished blanket to flatten the fabric and shape the lace and three-dimensional motifs.
  • Adjust the position of roses and leaves to make the overall layout uniform and beautiful.
  • Hand wash only, avoid high-temperature sun exposure.
